LUXURY ANTARCTICA HOLIDAYS

ABOUT THE ITINERARY

The advantage of flying to Antarctica? You spend less time at sea and more time exploring a choice of spectacular destinations.

Take the Classic Antarctic Air-Cruise and fly from Punta Arenas to join your ship in the South Shetland Islands. From there, you cruise to the awe-inspiring beauty of the Antarctic Peninsula’s western coast with its monumental icebergs and stunning fjords.

You also have the option of flying in one direction, to or from Punta Arenas, and cruising in the other – either to or from Ushuaia. It’s your choice.

The Classic Antarctica Air-Cruise is available on the Ocean Nova, Magellan Explorer and the soon to be operating Magellan Discover(from December 2026).

Ocean Nova – Sturdy and nimble, this ship was built to sail the ice-choked waters of Greenland and is ideally suited for Antarctic expeditions. Max number of passengers per fly-cruise: 67

Magellan Explorer and Magellan Discoverer – Featuring a modern design and innovative technologies, this expedition vessel was custom-built for our Antarctic air-cruises. Max number of passengers per fly-cruise: 73

PLEASE NOTE: All itineraries are for guidance only. Programs may vary depending on local ice, weather, and wildlife conditions. The on-board expedition leader will determine the final itinerary. Flexibility is paramount for Antarctic expedition cruises.

Testimonal 7
“PROFESSIONAL, PERSONAL – AND A REAL PLEASURE”
From the moment we got in touch, everything felt smooth and well looked after. The team were not only professional and thorough – providing tailored suggestions with clear costings – but also genuinely friendly. Even after we returned, a follow-up email (and a bottle of wine!) showed just how thoughtful Ultimate Travel really is. Nothing was too much trouble. We already have more trips booked and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Testimonial 4
“FLAWLESS, AGAIN”
This is the third time I’ve used TUTC. The service, as before, was flawless. Aside from putting in place all the major details of a complex trip to Japan, Dan at TUTC nailed every detail: train tickets were for seats with large luggage space (very important in Japan, as we discovered); a mobile internet wifi was included; together with a pre-charged use-pretty-much-anywhere travel card (again, important – Japan has multiple transport companies). For any kind of complex trip I won’t go anywhere else.

“FAULTLESS AND FUN”
We’ve just returned from a Danube cruise with Douglas Skeggs and Joanna Worsley, with a few days in Vienna beforehand – all brilliantly overseen by Emily. From meet and greet at the airport to every detail on board the Amadeus Cara, the organisation was seamless. We’re already looking forward to our next Escorted Tour with ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV.
