THE IMPERIAL NEW DELHI, DELHI

THE IMPERIAL IS SOMETHING OF AN ICON IN THE CITY

Built during the British colonial period by Blomfield, an associate of Sir Edwin Lutyen, The Imperial is something of an icon in the city. You’ll be swept up to the hotel’s grand entrance, with its magnificent white facade, along a driveway lined with 24 king palms. Inside, you’re greeted with glittering chandeliers, Italian marbled hallways and Burmese teak furniture, whilst sepia photographs adorn the walls. The guestrooms and magnificent suites all have a contemporary feel, and many overlook the verdant gardens.

As well as for its harmonious blend of colonial, Art Deco and Victorian styles, The Imperial is renowned for its refined service and attention to detail. Centrally located, it’s easy to get around and explore, with attractions like the India Gate just steps away. After a day of sightseeing, the palm-shaded swimming pool offers welcome respite, as does the restorative Imperial Spa. When not dining out, the hotel has a selection of excellent restaurants serving up an eclectic mix of cuisines. A choice of historic bars transports you back to the Raj era.

“PROFESSIONAL, PERSONAL – AND A REAL PLEASURE”
From the moment we got in touch, everything felt smooth and well looked after. The team were not only professional and thorough – providing tailored suggestions with clear costings – but also genuinely friendly. Even after we returned, a follow-up email (and a bottle of wine!) showed just how thoughtful Ultimate Travel really is. Nothing was too much trouble. We already have more trips booked and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

“EVERY TRIP EXCELLENT – AND MORE TO COME”
I’ve been on several small group holidays with ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV and every one has been outstanding. My most recent trip in February was no exception – expertly organised, responsive to questions, and full of memorable experiences. The itineraries are well thought out, the hotels top-notch, and the group sizes just right. Their tour leaders are knowledgeable, supportive and great company. I haven’t looked elsewhere since discovering Ultimate – and I’m already planning my next.

“EXPERTLY TAILORED, EFFORTLESSLY ENJOYABLE”
We travelled to Indochina in January/February with an itinerary designed by ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV – and it was spot on. Rob, our consultant, really understood what we were looking for and created a journey that suited us perfectly. The choice of hotels was excellent, and the pace was just right, with enough time built in to relax and recharge between the different experiences. The service throughout was professional, personal and thoughtful – exactly what you want from a travel specialist.
