Accessible by both car and boat, the Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge lies in the village of Sukau, a great base for explorations both along the river and nearby nature trails. Guests are accommodated in a collection of semi-detached stilted wooden chalets linked by a series of treetop walkways. The rooms themselves are simple in decor but nevertheless clean and very comfortable with hot showers, ceiling fans and ensuite bathrooms.
